As we prepare for 2025, we’re doubling down on our purpose: reimagining feedback together for performance, engagement, and trusting relationships—whatever comes first for you. Feedback, the magic cocktail of culture, leadership, and skills, isn’t just about communication; it’s about creating environments where individuals and teams truly thrive.

This belief drives our work on Feedback First 2.0, where we aim to make feedback accessible, actionable, and transformative for everyone—leaders, teams, and individuals alike.

The Trends Shaping 2025

Looking ahead, we see three key trends defining the workplace:

  • AI in Soft Skills: AI is moving beyond technical tasks to support emotional intelligence, social skills, and communication. By helping us prepare for challenges and build better relationships, AI will enhance—not replace—our humanity.

  • Workplace Well-being: Mental health and burnout remain critical issues. Engagement will drop further unless organizations take mental health support seriously. Leaders face immense challenges managing different generations, dispersed teams, and increasing pressure to achieve more with less.

  • Small Changes, Big Impacts: Big change is out. Success now comes from turning ambitious goals into manageable, consistent actions. Incremental progress is the new transformation.

These trends highlight the need for thoughtful solutions to navigate the growing complexity of modern work environments.

Our Wishes for 2025

Our wish for 2025 is simple yet profound: let it be a year of clarity, progress, resilience, and well-being—especially for our youngest in the workplace.

  1. Clarity and Well-being Through Feedback: Feedback provides the clarity, structure, and positive reinforcement needed to reduce stress and foster mental well-being. ↳ Clear expectations and supportive communication create environments where everyone, especially younger employees, can thrive.

  2. Resilience in Receiving Feedback: We wish for more people to build resilience in receiving feedback—learning to listen, reflect, and grow, even when feedback feels uncomfortable. ↳ The ability to unpack feedback and see its value is a powerful tool for personal and professional growth.

  3. Progress Through Small Steps: Incremental improvements spark a ripple effect of growth and sustained achievement. ↳ Feedback turns aspirations into action, helping individuals and teams stay on track.

  4. Experimentation with AI: We hope more people experiment with AI tools to prepare, practice, and review difficult conversations like giving feedback. ↳ By leveraging AI, individuals can refine their approach, build confidence, and create better outcomes in real-world situations.
